Data Analyst (Quality Department)

Ar Hays we are seeking a skilled Data Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have the expertise to analyze data sets, identify trends, and communicate findings to management and stakeholders.


Your responsibilities will include:


  • Extract data from primary and secondary sources using automated tools.
  • Clean and correct corrupted data and coding errors.
  • Develop and maintain databases and data systems.
  • Analyze data to assess quality and derive meaningful insights.
  • Use statistical tools to identify patterns and trends.
  • Assign numerical values to business functions for performance assessment.
  • Analyze local and global trends impacting the organization and industry.
  • Prepare detailed reports for management, highlighting trends and predictions.
  • Collaborate with programmers, engineers, and management to improve processes and data governance.
  • Conduct Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA) to identify patterns and summarize data features.


What we are looking for:


  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Statistics, Informatics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in data analysis or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in English; knowledge of Spanish or French is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of data extraction, cleaning, and analysis techniques.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work in an international and multicultural environment.
  • Attention to detail, problemáticamente skills, and strategic thinking.


Skills we expect from you:


  • Data Cleaning and Preparation: Ability to clean and prepare data for analysis, including removing errors and transforming data into an analyzable format.
  • Data Analysis and Exploration: Proficiency in analyzing data and exploring insights using statistical methods to test hypotheses, identify trends, and make predictions.
  • Statistical Analysis: Understanding of statistical tests and tools, including mean, median, variance, standard deviation, correlation, regression, and hypothesis testing.
  • Programming: Knowledge of programming languages, especially Python (libraries like pandas, numpy, and scikit-learn) for data manipulation and analysis.
  • Database Management: Ability to query databases using SQL and knowledge of database systems like SQL, NO-SQL, BigQuery, and Looker.
  • Creating Dashboards and Reports: Skill in creating dashboards and reports using tools like Tableau and Power BI to communicate insights to stakeholders.
  • Communication: Ability to clearly convey findings, both written and orally, to non-technical stakeholders, including creating reports and presentations.
