Mission & Responsibilities

The HR manager is responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives in line with the overall business strategy.
The HR Manager will also be responsible for legal and group compliance, which requires the implementation of regulatory monitoring.
This position reports to the Managing Director and will be part of the Management Committee.

Human Resources Strategy:
Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business and factory strategy
Recruitment and onboarding process:
  • Define job description and job offer together with the direct manager.
  • Select and manage recruitment companies and temporary workers agencies.
  • Perform job interview for key roles.
  • Guarantees the welcome and smooth integration of the new employee together with the direct manager.
  • Ensure to be compliant with all the local legal procedures for hiring process: Drafts and update documents for the administrative management of employees (employment contract, promise of hiring, rules of procedure, …);
  • Workforce and organization planning process.
Competence and people development:
  • Ensure the adequacy of internal competencies in relation to the requirements of the each positions and to support individual development.
  • Define and manage the annual and pluriannual training plan;
  • Put in place the tools and means necessary to achieve the objectives of training and implement the evaluation system.
  • Empower and support the Management team, in optimizing internal competencies.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Implement the C&B Policy for the different position.
  • Manage the payroll process in a monthly basis together with payroll administrator.
Individual employee management:
Together with direct managers, handle all procedures related to the “individual relationships” with the employees in the company, from hire to termination, and as such, guarantee the application of the legislation in force and harmonize the practices of the different departments.

Social dialogue and social climate:
Support the Managing Director in relations with workers representatives (union) and ensure to be compliant with legal process:
  • Preparing meetings and minutes
  • Organizing professional elections if needed
  • Draw up all the documents to be sent to the Staff Representative Bodies
  • Elaborate all company agreements in compliance with the legislation in force
  • Representing the company with the works council
Health and safety:
  • Create the H&S culture and the right mindset in the whole organization.
  • Ensures the adaptation and improvement of the working conditions of employees;
  • Participate to the creation of rules and procedures about health and safety.

Required Skills:
  • Education: Bachelor/Master’s degree in HR/Labour Relations/Psychology/Business or related field (Master degree is preferred)
  • 8+ years of experience in HR related field, ideally in HR generalist role
  • Fluent English and Spanish
  • Catalan will be a plus
  • Labour law and compliance
  • Conflict resolution, disciplinary processes, and workplace investigations.
  • Compensation and benefit knowledge: Payroll understanding.
  • Recruitment process and interview skills
  • Training management

  • Union negotiation skills
  • Change Management
  • Knowledge of relevant health and safety rules.
Benefits:
  • Schedule: Monday to Thursday: 8h-17h. Friday: until 15h
